PLC Schneider

Hello everyone

We are using PLC Schneider ( Modicon TM238LFAC24DR ) and we want to use T7A (RS 232). Unfortunately we are not able to set the communication. We use MODBUS and set the Modbus Master protocol on HMI , PLC (slave). Even so, we can not put into operation communication.

I tried to find some simple example that would be recorded to the PLC and panel. Just see how it works and how it is set up. We're beginners in using Schneider we have never used with this PLC HMI.

This forum post tells you how to monitor the communication between a HMI and a PLC over 232.

Things to check include cable pin outs and baud rate of the serial connect. If you think everything should work, you can monitor the 232 connection and you should see the HMI periodically sending out requests to the controller for data.
