Comm Err Station 0

Post by Danjo »

Hi!

I keep getting the "comm err station 0" message on my t10a and it feels like I have tried everything.
I have my T10A connected to a Fx3U-enet and a Fx3G.
I have manually set the IP to all components and pinged them and I'm sure they are all connected. I think the problem is that I'm using the wrong port numbers. Which port is usually used to send from panel to, in this case, a enet module?
Also if there is anything else that i need to check to make this work.
Thanks in advance

The default port for that driver is 1281. If you think you have tried everything, you could download Wireshark and look at the network traffic. The panel should be sending out Ethernet packets over the network. You can verify what port those packets are being sent to if you want.

That error means that the HMI can not connect to your station zero in one of your controllers.

I have set the port 1281 and ip to the controller in the controller settings and i have used Fx Configurator to set target ip, which i think should be the panel(?) and then i have i need to open ports to "host station" and "transmission target device" and also choosen to at this moment only recieve data.

How do i know which is the target device and the host station?
Otherwise i think that should be it, right?

Please look at the controller help file. It tells you what you need to do to configure the ENET module on your PLC so that it works with the HMI.

Forum post detailing how to get to the controller help.

I am experiencing the same issue. I have gone through all of the help files in the controller setup. I have tried single and mixed read settings. I tried wire shark and do not see anthing between the devices. All IP are within range. Is there a port setting on the Mitsubishi side?
PLC 192.168.10.10
HMI 192.168.10.20
Port 1281

Thanks

The help file found by following a pervious post has a screenshot of where in the FX Configurator you can set the host port.
