accessing to tags from outside the panel

I need to access to internal tags from outside the panel.
Pratically, I am finding a way to have external device that can modify the tags.

Moreover, I need to load in an external USB memory stick some files (XML and pictures) also visible from outside.

Is it possible?

If you want to access some internal tags, why not make it some controller tags instead?
Then you can access them directly in your controller instead of the HMI?
You can make data exhange from the HMI tags to 1-or more contollers.
See manual for that. (it's pretty simple)
