iX T15BM connected to DOT MATRIX Printer Epson/USB or Serial

Post by iosif »

Hello everybody,

I try to connect the T15BM with a dot matrix printer via USB but I am not sure that if it is supported as its printing method is dot matrix.

Also, I tried to connected it serial from COM2-RS422 via the Beijer BDC-JetCon RS422toRS232 converter but without success. I don't understand where should I connect the DTR signal from the Printer.

At the past I connected the Exter series with this printer via the CAB6 cable.
But now the iX series has 9-pin RS422 and not 25-pin.

I would appreciate any help.
We could accomplish many more things if we didn't think of them as impossible.

Hi,

Because Windows Embedded CE has only a PCL printer driver, the following registry key entry is hard-coded into the registry to load the PCL driver. This enables testing all USB printers that support PCL print format.

Non-PCL printers still support ASCII-only printing with the default PCL driver.
To support printing on non-PCL printers,
Therefore, the printer driver shows up in Microsoft® WordPad for Windows Embedded CE word processing software with LPT1:
